Incorporating cupping therapy in rehabilitating fatigue

Alhamdulillah. I was blessed to have learned both cupping therapy and massage therapy. I usually offer both services to my visitors as a combination treatment to help them feel better after they left the treatment table, insyaAllah.

Through my practice, I have found that dry cupping therapy is indeed very effective in immediately rehabilitate a very tired athlete or sportsmen. The time of treatment is also shortened and I can treat a number of athletes at the same time.

All I would do is to cup areas at the neck, along the spine, middle meridian areas, lower back, the quadriceps and the calf. The treatment will take between 15 to 20 minutes.

After the treatment, I will apply light massage on the body and then complement it with light stretches. A glass of water at the end of the treatment will be a good help. Let them rest for about 15 to 20 minutes more before asking them to have a cool shower. The athlete will felt rejuvenated after that, insyaAllah
