Cupping 2013!

Greetings and salam to all!

It is not yet too late to wish everyone Happy New Year!

What about eh!

It has been a wonderful 2012! Alhamdulillah! We are blessed with mountains of great health and rezeki from the almighty! It has been nice to note that cupping/hijama or bekam has gain its popularity in treating people who seeks to liven the sunnah or people who wanted to improve their health. I was blessed to have patients who got many of their health problems remedied with the Rahmat of Allah. Yes, I am just the practitioner who learn the therapy but Allah is the ultimate healer.

Just a refresher to new readers, cupping/hijama/bekam is an ancient healing methodology that was practiced thousands years back. It is a methodology to isolate and if need be let coagulated blood out of the blood vessel system. Coagulation is the process where blood form clots. The clots may damage the lining of the blood vessel and makes blood circulation sluggish. When this happens, abundance of possibilities may happen to us. Some got easily tired. Some fell sick and in some circumstances experience deep vein thrombosis which could be a silent killer.

Cupping helps. It has been around for so many years now. A good practitioner will normally do a dry cupping on his patients and if need arise will recommend to continue with wet cupping i.e. letting out the blood clots. It is however the patients' choice whether or not to do a wet cupping.

It is best to find a qualified practitioner as they are normally well trained. After your cupping therapy it is always advisable to drink some water and it is best if you can take a table spoon of honey. Pray to Allah to ease you of any pain or sickness after that. Allah is the ultimate healer.

May all of us be blessed with better health and wealth, amin yaa rabbul alamin.

Jazakallahu khair
